She filed the suit Wednesday alleging that an entourage made up of law enforcement claimed she was a &#8220;lawyer&#8221; &#8220;security threat&#8221; When she objected to a &#8220;polysexual&#8221; flyer in school.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1833220150\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-0b91df73e6a781dd0bbd767a522cff29 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-0b91df73e6a781dd0bbd767a522cff29\"><\/div>\n<p>Reading, who was a member of her county&#8217;s regional education board until the incident, posted a complaint on Facebook after her 7-year old daughter asked her what she meant. &#8220;polysexual&#8221; It means elementary &#8220;Math Night.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Why are elementary schools promoting\/allowing elementary KIDS to research topics of sexuality and create posters?&#8221; Reading is a skill. &#8220;This is not in the state elementary standards (law) nor in the BOE-approved curriculum. It&#8217;s perverse and should be illegal to expose my kids to sexual content.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Lt. Col. Christopher Schilling, of the nearby Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, flagged Reading&#8217;s comments as &#8220;security concerns&#8221; In a private Facebook post. He added that the base was working with local police. &#8220;monitor the situation&#8221;  &#8220;ensure the continued safety of the community,&#8221; According to the New York Post. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I was more than surprised. I was scared,&#8221; Reading commented on Schilling&#8217;s reply in an interview &#8220;Tucker Carlson Tonight&#8221; last December. &#8220;I actually pulled my kids from school the day I found out. It was mind-boggling and I was worried for them when the U.S. military comes after you for simply raising concern about a public poster that is widely available for all to see.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-76ed57877d03a7e503a48ee0225c880a fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-76ed57877d03a7e503a48ee0225c880a\"><\/div>\n<p>Reading&#8217;s lawsuit, filed in the Thomas More Society, contains documents obtained through public record requests. They show that U.S. Military and local law enforcement conspired to describe her as an accomplice. &#8220;extremist.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Without any evidence, the Joint Base Actors acted in concert to label Mrs. Reading a \u2018far-right extremist&#8217; and security threat, worthy of government surveillance,&#8221; The filing says. Their efforts &#8220;urged state authorities to monitor and take other action against Mrs. Reading for no other reason than her making a simple, constitutionally protected objection on Facebook to age-inappropriate sexual content in an elementary school that directly impacted her own children.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Under the Biden administration, left-wing ideologues have been accustomed to making comparisons between parents who are concerned and terrorists. The Justice Department was criticized for targeting parents who showed up at their local school board meetings in 2021. &#8220;domestic terrorists.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Doug Emhoff, Second Gentleman, compared parental activism in schools to Nazi hatred that fueled the Holocaust on Wednesday. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-10dbc5cc7e4d47aab9d83ff6c9850217 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-10dbc5cc7e4d47aab9d83ff6c9850217\"><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;You see it in the discourse in the country right now. You see it in the divide that we have, just going to school meetings. You see that hate that is out there.
