According to a February medical journal research, natural immunity to COVID can be just as effective than vaccines.<\/p>\n<p>Despite warnings about the possibility of a winter surge, very few Americans have actually received booster shots. As of early January, only 18 percent of U.S. adults have received the bivalent booster\u2014a mere fraction of the 79 percent who got the first round of shots.<\/p>\n<p>Fauci observed that it was &#8220;likely&#8221; The virus will not be detected. &#8220;disappear,&#8221; Americans should be prepared to receive frequent vaccines.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s not going to be eradicated, and it&#8217;s not going to be eliminated,&#8221; Fauci said. &#8220;It&#8217;s gonna be around, you know, for the foreseeable future.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Fauci is being criticized for recent reports that he ordered a scientific investigation in February 2020 to disprove Wuhan&#8217;s lab-leak theory. This was despite evidence suggesting the virus may have leaked from Wuhan Institute of Virology.<\/p>\n<p>Fauci mentioned the study during a White House press conference in April 2020. &#8220;The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2,&#8221; He used this evidence to discredit the possible laboratory-leak theory. He claimed that he was unfamiliar with the authors, even though he had spoken two months earlier with the researchers about this study.<\/p>\n<p>FBI and Energy Department both pointed out Wuhan as the likely source.<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Fauci&#8217;s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases paid for high-risk research at the laboratory.
