Private Mailboxes and PO Boxes are not allowed. This restriction negatively affects full-time travellers, many of which live in RVs year-round. Many rely on PMBs and PO Boxes to receive mail.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. Sens. U.S. Senators. introduced the legislation in a bid to\u00a0remove what they see as an unfair denial of Second Amendment rights for Americans with unique living situations.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;No law-abiding American should be denied their Second Amendment rights,&#8221; Crapo made the statement in a statement. &#8220;Military spouses and RV owners are just two examples of full-time travelers who are blocked from obtaining a firearm under current law. The Traveler&#8217;s Gun Rights Act is a commonsense solution that will finally address this oversight.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Risch said that a person&#8217;s decision to not have a traditional address does not mean they can&#8217;t exercise their Second Amendment rights. He stated that this bill would protect Americans&#8217; fundamental right to privacy. &#8220;regardless of their living situation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Rounds shared the concerns of his colleagues and said that the bill would remove the &#8220;unfair prohibition&#8221; Americans facing with &#8220;unique living situations.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This legislation will make certain that law-abiding citizens do not face a burdensome roadblock when trying to exercise their Second Amendment rights,&#8221; He stated.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Dusty Johnson (R.S.D. Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) introduced a companion bill to the GOP-controlled House. He announced it on March 10.<\/p>\n<h2>\u2018Overlooked Obstacle&#8217;<\/h2>\n<p>National Rifle Association\u2019s Institute for Legislative Action, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation endorse the bill.<\/p>\n<p>Lawrence Keane is senior vice president and general counsel of NSSF. He said that the bill is crucial for active-duty military personnel who frequently move and those not living at fixed addresses.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Senator Rounds&#8217; legislation fixes this overlooked obstacle that disenfranchises citizens of the full spectrum of their Second Amendment rights while ensuring the FBI&#8217;s National Instant Criminal Background Check System ensures firearms remain out of the hands of those who should never possess them,&#8221; Keane spoke.<\/p>\n<p>The legislation was co-sponsored by seven senators, including\u00a0Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.), Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.), Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Roger Marshall (R-Kans.), James Lankford (R-Okla.), Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.), and Mike Braun (R-Ind.).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Bureaucratic red tape shouldn&#8217;t be used to stop law-abiding Americans and our brave servicemembers from purchasing a firearm. It&#8217;s their constitutional right, and that&#8217;s what the Traveler&#8217;s Gun Rights Act would protect,&#8221;\u00a0Hyde Smith made these remarks in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The companion legislation introduced by Johnson in the House was\u00a0cosponsored by Reps.
