New York-based <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/economy\/regulators-shut-down-signature-bank-svb-collapse\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Signature Bank<\/a>The company also closed last week and donated $850,000 over many years to similar groups. <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/economy\/big-rate-cuts-fed-svb-collapse\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SVB\u00a0COLLAPSE: BIG FED RATE CUTS NOW EXPECTED IN MAJOR REVERSAL OVER RECESSION FEARS<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p>SVB made a promise to Floyd in the summer 2020 to expand its commitment. &#8220;diversity, equity and inclusion.&#8221; Greg Becker, CEO, reported that two thirds of employees had achieved the company&#8217;s diversity goal in August that year. <\/p>\n<p>The company&#8217;s employee match program was also focused on &#8220;pandemic response, social justice, sustainability, and supporting women, black and Latinx emerging talent, and other underrepresented groups,&#8221; According to Becker. <\/p>\n<p>Conservative critics are trying to make fun of the company for this revelation. &#8220;woke&#8221; Instead of focusing solely on red flags that could have prevented the bank&#8217;s collapse, focus on policies <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;[SVB is] one of the most woke banks in [its] quest for the ESG-type policy and investing,&#8221; Rep. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/james-comer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">James Comer<\/a> Fox News: (R-KY) <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/politics\/silicon-valley-bank-donated-millions-black-lives-matter-related-groups-social-justice-causes-records-show\">On<\/a> Sunday. &#8220;This could be a trend, and there are consequences for bad Democrat policy.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE ABOUT THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p>Democrats blame the situation on the former President <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Donald Trump<\/a> Approval of the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief and Consumer Protection Act, which rolledback key regulations put in place after 2008&#8217;s financial crisis.
