Wade<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, the Supreme Court presented its budget request to Congress and requested an increase of $5897,000 for extra security.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;<\/strong>This request would allow Supreme Court Police to expand the security operations they have in place to protect Justices, including SCOTUS. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscourts.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/Section%2001a%20Supreme%20Court%20Salaries%20and%20Expenses.pdf#page=18\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Write<\/a>. &#8220;Ongoing threat assessments reveal evolving risks that need continuous protection. Additional funding would be available for contract positions that eventually will transition to full-time employees. This will increase the Supreme Court&#8217;s police force&#8217;s capabilities and enable it to fulfill its protective mission.<\/p>\n<p>POLITICO leaked a draft opinion on May 20, 2022. <em>Dobbs v. Jackson<\/em> That indicated that SCOTUS would be overthrown <em>Roe<\/em>. A Californian man was taken into custody near the residence of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, and charged with attempted murder. The assailant was &#8220;upset&#8221; by the\u00a0leaked draft indicating that SCOTUS would overturn <em>Roe, <\/em>According to an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2022\/05\/02\/roe-v-wade-supreme-court-draft-politico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Affidavit<\/a>According to, he &#8220;stated that he began thinking about how to give his life a purpose and decided that he would kill the Supreme Court Justice.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>For protests, abortion activists also attacked Kavanaugh&#8217;s and Justice Amy Coney Barrett&#8217;s homes. Justice Samuel Alito declared, &#8220;The leak also made those of us who were thought to be in the majority in support of overruling\u00a0<em>Roe<\/em>\u00a0and [<em>Planned Parenthood v. Casey<\/em>] targets for assassination, because it gave people a rational reason to think they could prevent that from happening by killing one of us.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A May 13, 2022 Department of Homeland Security, DHS\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2022\/05\/18\/supreme-court-abortion-roe-protests-violence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Memo obtained from Axios<\/a>\u00a0It was discovered that government officials were investigating threats against the justices, clerks, places-of- worship, and abortion clinics.<\/p>\n<p>These are the dangers &#8220;are likely to persist and may increase leading up to and following the issuing of the Court&#8217;s official ruling,&#8221; According to the memo.<\/p>\n<p>Just prior to the Overturn of <em>Roe<\/em> Pro-abortion protesters marched to Barrett&#8217;s house in late June 2022. &#8220;blood&#8221; Staining clothes and carrying dolls<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;We aren&#8217;t incubators! Amy Coney Barrett received baby dolls from the youth procession. We are not protesting to change minds of fascist women-hating feminists.
