The second will claim that the Kremlin intentionally targeted civilian infrastructure during its attacks. <\/p>\n<p>Karim Khan, chief prosecutor, will present his information to several pre-trial judges. These judges will determine if the legal standards have been met to issue arrest warrants or if investigators require additional evidence. <\/p>\n<p>While it is not known who the court will charge in each instance, experts and diplomats from outside suggest that Russia&#8217;s President will be charged. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/vladimir-putin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vladimir Putin<\/a> Could be one of the target of the arrest warrants. In cases involving war crime, crimes against humanity or genocide, the criminal court will not grant immunity to heads of state. <i>New York Times.<\/i> <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We do not publicly discuss specifics related to ongoing investigations,&#8221; When asked for confirmation of arrest warrant requests, the prosecutor&#8217;s bureau replied. <\/p>\n<p>Since the start of the war, investigators have been gathering strong evidence against Russia. In 2022 Ukrainian forces captured Bucha, discovered bodies of shot and bound civilians, and Russian forces bombed Bucha&#8217;s train station, which was full of families fleeing. <\/p>\n<p>Although diplomats and leaders around the world have condemned Russia for war crime, those in power and military personnel rarely face international prosecution. <\/p>\n<p>The Kremlin denies that it committed war crimes and is not denying it. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/04\/10\/world\/europe\/russia-ukraine-war-crimes.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Unlikely<\/a> a trial will occur as the court does not operate in absentia \u2014 Russia is unlikely to surrender any officials served with arrest warrants. <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE ABOUT THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p>Moscow claimed that its reeducation program was a humanitarian mission to help children left behind by the war. But investigators found that Russian forces took children out of orphanages and group homes, and sent them to Russian citizens&#8217; homes or summer camps. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have repeatedly said that children must no longer be the forgotten victims of conflict,&#8221; Khan <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.icc-cpi.int\/news\/icc-prosecutor-karim-khan-kc-concludes-fourth-visit-ukraine-amidst-darkness-light-justice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/a> On March 7, after his fourth visit, he arrived in Ukraine. &#8220;These alleged acts are being investigated by my Office as a priority.
