Ky.), chairman of the committee, sent\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/release\/comer-hunters-art-dealer-hiding-information-and-obstructing-congressional-oversight-%EF%BF%BC\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Another letter<\/a> Monday to Georges Berg\u00e8s, the owner of the Georges Berg\u00e8s Gallery, requesting information related to Biden&#8217;s anonymous, high-priced art transactions. Even after four previous requests from Comer&#8217;s committee over the last two years, Berg\u00e8s still refuses to disclose any information on the purchasers of <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/hunter-biden-paintings-worth-less-than-his-mounting-legal-bills\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden&#8217;s art<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mr. Berge\u0300s is completely refusing to cooperate with the committee&#8217;s requests. He has chosen to obstruct in an apparent effort to shield Mr. Biden and\/or the purchasers of Mr. Biden&#8217;s art from congressional oversight,&#8221; Comer <a href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Letter-to-Pittard-03-13-2023.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Write<\/a> to Berg\u00e8s&#8217;s lawyer, William Pittard.<\/p>\n<p>The committee is demanding transparency in its investigation into foreign business dealings between Biden and President Joe Biden. The ethics watchdogs are <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/hunter-biden-art-dealer-served-jail-time-and-allegedly-defrauded-investor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Be concerned<\/a> Hunter Biden&#8217;s work is a way for foreign buyers to gain favor with the White House.
