This is a record for the series. Warner Brothers Discovery reports that viewers have now watched six episodes, which includes streaming over time.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Last of Us&#8221; The most-watched HBO Max Series in Europe&#8217;s History, has been per <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2023\/tv\/news\/the-last-of-us-season-1-finale-ratings-viewers-1235551465\/\">Variety<\/a>. It&#8217;s still the most popular. &#8220;House of the Dragon&#8221; The United States.<\/p>\n<p>The Academy Awards had its highest viewing audience since 2020, but it still didn&#8217;t reach pre-pandemic levels. Average 18.7 million viewers watched the ABC broadcast that evening..<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time the series has been nominated for an award. Episode 4 &#8220;Please Hold to My Hand,&#8221; The show aired simultaneously with the Grammys on February 5, and attracted 7.5 million viewers, a record.<\/p>\n<p>HBO Max didn&#8217;t attempt to compete against the Super Bowl on Feb. 12, and instead released that week&#8217;s episode two days earlier.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Last of Us&#8221; It was renewed for a second series, and there are rumors that it will be renewed for a third. The zombie apocalypse series is based on the videogame of the same title. Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin have already suggested that the second part of the game might be worthy of two seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Season 2 will follow the pattern of season 1. &#8220;The Last of Us&#8221; While the narrative of the game will be the most important content element, the creators can also choose to deviate from the gameplay at their discretion.<\/p>\n<p>Mazin indicated this week in a virtual press conference that season 2 will be launched. &#8220;will be different&#8221; The game&#8217;s Part II.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It will be different just as this season was different [from the first game],&#8221; He said, &#8220;Personalize!&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/tv\/the-last-of-us-season-2-bella-ramsey-time-jump\/\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a>. &#8220;Sometimes it will be different radically, and sometimes it will be [barely] different at all. But it&#8217;s going to be different and it will be its own thing. It won&#8217;t be exactly like the game.
