Relations between Tesla and BYD are positive,&#8221; Musk tweeted the following Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>BYD stated in a statement to Reuters that the report was inaccurate. &#8220;is not in line with the actual situation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In June, Lian Yubo, BYD&#8217;s Executive Vice President, stated to Chinese state-owned broadcaster CGTN (Chinese State-owned Broadcaster) that BYD was preparing Tesla with batteries &#8220;very soon&#8221;.
