It would broaden the state&#8217;s definitions of a &#8220;person&#8221; to include a fertilized egg. People who have an abortion would face the death penalty, as they would be treated equally. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/murder\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">homicide<\/a> under state law. <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/jane-fonda-murder-abortion-the-view\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: JANE FONDA OFFERS &#8216;MURDER&#8221; AS A SOLUTION FOR ANTI-ABORTION AMERICANS<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p>The bill allows exceptions in order to save the mother &#8220;when all reasonable alternatives to save the life of the unborn child were attempted or none were available.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>A second exception is when the person was forced into it &#8220;because she was compelled to do so by the threat of imminent death or great bodily injury.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Incest or rape cases would not be exempt from the general rule. <\/p>\n<p>Rep. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/nancy-mace\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nancy Mace<\/a>\u00a0(R.SC), a survivor, has criticized the GOP multiple times because it does not allow rape or incest.
