This is causing problems across the country. The responses came in from all 50 states. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/california\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">California<\/a> New York to the safe confines of Texas or Arkansas. More than 90% said that they were leaders. &#8220;conservative&#8221; Or &#8220;very conservative.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Trump&#8217;s most formidable threat appears to be Florida Governor. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/ron-desantis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ron DeSantis<\/a>. DeSantis has not yet announced his intention to run. However, his book tour through early voting states and his visit to Iowa on Friday signal to Trump and the voters that he is ready to enter the race. <\/p>\n<p>Trump&#8217;s first loss came in response to a basic question \u2014 have any of the leaders committed to supporting a candidate? Nearly half of respondents felt it was too early for them to support one candidate. Only 19% of the respondents who indicated they were ready to support a candidate in the race said they were on Team DeSantis. DeSantis topped 73% of the list.
