His testimony is expected to be completed next week and Trump has been invited to testify. It seems likely that Alvin Bragg, Manhattan District Attorney, will finish his case before asking for a grand jury to indict Trump. <\/p>\n<p>New York law allows defendants in an investigation to testify before the grand jury. However, they are rarely allowed to do so.
