I cooperated with Secret Service, FBI, everybody that asked for my help. Got information for them. This was confirmed by <i>Politico<\/i>. Santos claimed that he had met Trelha only once &#8220;a couple of times in my life,&#8221; <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/03\/10\/politics\/george-santos-credit-card-skimming-atm-fraud\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">According<\/a> CNN <\/p>\n<p>Trelha filed a sworn declaration to the FBI Wednesday alleging that Congressman &#8220;oversaw&#8221; Credit card skimming was a crime that took place in Seattle in 2017. Trelha was found guilty of credit card fraud in Seattle and was deported to Brazil where he is currently from in 2018. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am coming forward today to declare that the person in charge of the crime of credit card fraud when I was arrested was George Santos,&#8221; Trelha wrote the declaration <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2023\/02\/24\/george-santos-lied-to-a-judge-in-2017-bid-to-help-a-family-friend-charged-with-fraud-00084341\">Obtained<\/a> By <i>Politico.<\/i> <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE ABOUT THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p>A 2017 court recording does not prove that Trelha was Santos&#8217;s roommate.
