So we&#8217;ll continue to stand up for our interests, our principles, and our friends.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Israeli officials are hesitant about providing military aid to Ukraine as they fear it will lead to retaliation in Syria where Putin and Iran have deployed forces for Bashar al-Assad&#8217;s support.<\/p>\n<p>Israeli Prime Minister <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/benjamin-netanyahu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Benjamin Netanyahu<\/a> He said that he was &#8220;looking into&#8221; They are providing military support to Ukraine, noting that they help Ukraine with its military or intelligence operations against Russia&#8217;s main allies in Iran.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But what we have with Russia is a complex relationship because not very far from here, a few miles from here, on our northern border in Syria, Israeli aircraft and Russian aircraft are flying within spitting distance of each other,&#8221; He stated this in a <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/transcripts.cnn.com\/show\/se\/date\/2023-01-31\/segment\/01\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a> Interview on January 31. &#8220;That is, Russia is in \u2014 militarily in Syria.
