I&#8217;ll show you what I want to do.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/biden-debt-ceiling-budget\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BIDEN LAUNCHES OPENING SALVO IN DEBT CEILING FIGHT AGAINST GOP WITH BUDGET RELEASE<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Biden portrayed his fiscal 2024 budget to fulfill a campaign promise, while he stands poised for a reelection bid. He also highlighted, for instance, the spending he made on public safety.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If they say they want to cut the deficit, but their plans would explode the deficit, how are they going to make the math work?&#8221; He added the Republicans. &#8220;What are they going to cut?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Biden emphasized how his budget would lower next year\u2019s deficit by $3 trillion over ten years. This is in comparison to the pandemic spending of former President Donald Trump. His advocacy for extending the federal budget is also evident. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/medicare\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Medicare<\/a>The Hospital Insurance Trust Fund was created by raising the Medicare tax rate for those earning over $400,000 to 5%. Inflation Reduction Act prescription drug negotiations provisions were reinvested into the Hospital Insurance Trust Fund. Additionally, he requested $835 billion for defense expenditures and an additional 5.2% raise for federal employees.<\/p>\n<p>Biden criticised Republicans (especially Sen. Rick Scott, R-FL) for not considering automatic budgets before the release of this budget. &#8220;sun-setting&#8221; A variety of programs are available, <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/social-security\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Social Security<\/a> Medicare.
