And I&#8217;m missing reverence.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Things have become politicized,&#8221; She added. &#8220;I want to see people in awe. I want to see people believing again. Someone lost control.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Their bigger brain wasn&#8217;t thinking, and they did something that was horrendous and also showed no remorse,&#8221; She added. &#8220;That, to me, is a microcosm oftentimes of our world. Chris was brilliant \u2014 totally held on to and controlled his emotions, was able to stand with dignity.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;That&#8217;s an example of what we would like our world to look like,&#8221; Hawn went on. &#8220;But, unfortunately, it isn&#8217;t right now.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b data-stringify-type=\"bold\"><a class=\"c-link c-link--focus-visible\" href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-stringify-link=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" data-sk=\"tooltip_parent\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILY WIRE APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>She also wondered what had happened to the superstar actress &#8220;old-fashioned movie star.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Where are they?&#8221; Goldie said. &#8220;The old-fashioned movie star creates excitement. We used to be able to say, \u2018I&#8217;m going to take a break because I think I&#8217;m overexposed.&#8217; A lot of these people that are coming up are making more money than anybody ever made as an actor, but they&#8217;re not known.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Later on, she reflected upon the school&#8217;s politicization of kids. &#8220;cancel culture.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They&#8217;re canceling books \u2014 classic books that no one can read,&#8221; Hawn said. &#8220;I don&#8217;t like that. There&#8217;s mistrust everywhere. So not only is there cancel culture, but there are culture wars. Schools are being politicized. But for the greater good of our children? No one&#8217;s really looking at that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;So \u2018cancel culture,'&#8221; She added. &#8220;The word itself scares me more than anything. It&#8217;s rigid, concretized thinking, which is not good. It&#8217;s got double edges on it.
