It would have allowed the United States to ban TikTok as well as take actions against foreign adversaries. It is the legislation\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.warner.senate.gov\/public\/_cache\/files\/2\/b\/2b4f7206-6125-4edb-b925-7e4c64f14bdb\/620D5CBA3AE75F38CE6C4D38537684C2.final-two-pager.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">empowers<\/a>\u00a0Department of Commerce will review and prevent transactions involving information communications technology (ICT).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve got to figure this TikTok thing out,&#8221; Trump Jr. spoke in an exclusive statement for The Daily Wire &#8220;But I got to thinking, well hold on just a second, a lot of these social media companies have China issues and if we&#8217;re going to do something here, it needs to apply to all of them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Trump Jr. spoke to The Daily Wire following his public call for Congress to act to block all U.S. social media companies&#8217; user data going to China.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;While we&#8217;re going hardcore on TikTok regulations, how about NO American data flowing through China for ANY social media company?!&#8221; Trump Jr. &#8220;No letting Facebook, IG, Twitter or anyone else off the hook for data security and privacy in whatever ends up happening.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We&#8217;re focusing on TikTok regulations.
