This year the battery has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abc27.com\/national\/e-bike-batteries-blamed-for-22-nyc-fires-2-deaths-this-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blamed<\/a> New York City was the scene of 22 fires that resulted in 36 injuries, and 2 deaths.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the point?<\/strong>You can also see this article\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/pete-buttigieg-train-wreck-scandal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">another scandal<\/a> Pete Buttigieg is the Transportation Secretary who has been failing to make progress since his election. Buttigieg, 41, is <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/politics\/buttigieg-bike-share\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">obsessed with bicycles<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/boon-for-buttigieg-dc-could-give-residents-up-to-1200-to-buy-electric-bikes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">of all kinds<\/a>. He had made a deal in South Bend with Lime, an electric scooter and bike rental company, in order to put a fleet in his college town.
