It doesn&#8217;t seem that this will happen. <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/biden-admin-accused-creating-gag-policy-scientific-research\">BIDEN ADMINISTRATION ACCUSED OF CREATING &#8216;GAG POLICY&#8217; FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I would refer you to the CDC, they are the ones who deal with that,&#8221; White House press secretary <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/karine-jean-pierre\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Karine Jean-Pierre<\/a> Responding to a reporter\u2019s question. &#8220;It&#8217;s still in place, and we expect everyone to abide by our country&#8217;s rule, whether as a participant or a spectator.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>DeSantis was a possible 2024 presidential candidate and called the mandate &#8220;<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/foreign\/desantis-pleads-joe-biden-novak-djokovic-allowed-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unscientific<\/a>.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The only thing keeping Mr. Djokovic from participating in this tournament is your administration&#8217;s continued enforcement of a misguided, unscientific, and out-of-date COVID-19 vaccination requirement for foreign guests seeking to visit our great country,&#8221; DeSantis sent a letter to the <i>Washington Examiner<\/i>. <\/p>\n<p>DeSantis asked that Djokovic be stopped from entering Florida by boat by the Biden administration by March 10. DeSantis also noted in a footnote the Oct. 25, 2021 Proclamation by Biden &#8220;governs the entry into the United States of noncitizen nonimmigrants &#8230; by air. &#8221; <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Your administration does not appear to have issued analogous restrictions for non-U.S. individuals seeking to enter our country by boat,&#8221; He also added a footnote. <\/p>\n<p>Djokovic, who was barred from last year\u2019s Australian Open tournament because he refused to get the COVID-19 shot, won the Australian Open earlier this year.
