Third Way claims this will result in Democrats losing the presidency, and Donald Trump returning to the White House.<\/p>\n<p>No Labels says on its\u00a0website\u00a0that\u00a0the unity ticket would be an &#8220;insurance plan&#8221; If both Democrats or Republicans make the choice &#8220;unreasonably divisive presidential nominees.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Third Way said that No Labels\u00a0is courting lawmakers in both parties as part of the plan. It is however, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thirdway.org\/memo\/the-no-labels-third-party-bid-a-plan-that-will-re-elect-trump\">warned\u00a0in a memo<\/a>\u00a0That\u00a0&#8220;rather than producing a third-party ticket that would defy the overwhelming odds and win, No Labels is on track to field a spoiler who would re-elect Trump or a Trump-like Republican.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It is noted that the majority of states No Labels are included in this memo &#8220;path to victory projections&#8221; for the\u00a02024 presidential election voted for Biden in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;So, by their own admission, their prime targets are voters who would otherwise back the Democrat,&#8221; the group said, adding that\u00a0No Labels is &#8220;on the ground seeking\u00a0spots on the ballot\u00a0in multiple states, including battlegrounds like Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, and Nevada, and claim they will compete\u00a0in at least 23.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>No Labels was able to make it to the finals in January <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpr.org\/2023\/01\/26\/colorado-no-labels-political-party\/\">ballot in Colorado<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Halperin Steps Down<\/h2>\n<p>In a statement to Politico,\u00a0No Labels argued that its\u00a0polling &#8220;resolutely demonstrates that this ticket would draw voters from both sides equally.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The group added that it would not\u00a0put forward its own candidate but would ensure a &#8220;launching pad&#8221; Should Republicans or Democrats select candidates who aren&#8217;t from the third party, is there a candidate ready to be considered? &#8220;appealing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>No Labels was founded by\u00a0political activist Nancy Jacobson and is co-chaired by Maryland&#8217;s Republican Gov. Larry Hogan, former Senator Joe Lieberman who was a Democrat from Connecticut and then an independent.<\/p>\n<p>The organization confirmed to Politico on Tuesday that\u00a0Mark Halperin, senior communications adviser, is leaving No Labels.<\/p>\n<p>Halperin used to be a major TV network political commentator. Many women accused Halperin, of sexual harassment and misconduct while he was at ABC News in 2017, came forward.<\/p>\n<p>He posted a 2017 statement to Twitter, in which he denied certain allegations and acknowledged others. Halperin apologized for his error and stated that he was sorry. &#8220;behavior was inappropriate and caused others pain.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to Politico,\u00a0Halperin had been No Labels&#8217; highest-paid employee after joining the group in 2021. He resigned from his position without explanation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mark has been a valued member of the No Labels team these last two years.
