But, now that lipstick-wearing men insist that they are women, candy bars have miraculously been able to &#8220;finally&#8221; be &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FaeJohnstone\/status\/1630960870863020033?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">end misogyny, patriarchy[,] and gender-based violence<\/a>.&#8221; It&#8217;s a good way to show support for women by replacing them with ads for the products that they are most likely to purchase.<\/p>\n<p>As is so often the case with these scenarios, there&#8217;s a deeper truth underneath all the humor. Many Western women need assistance. American women are facing a fast-expanding mental health crisis which puts some of their lives at stake and poses a serious threat to the civilization.<\/p>\n<h2>Mental health and suicide<\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;Sexual attacks and other traumatic experiences have led to an unprecedented level of hopelessness and suicidal thoughts among America&#8217;s young women,&#8221; NBC News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/health\/health-news\/teen-mental-health-cdc-girls-sadness-violence-rcna69964\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a> In February<\/p>\n<p>According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, (CDC), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/healthyyouth\/data\/yrbs\/pdf\/YRBS_Data-Summary-Trends_Report2023_508.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2011-2021 Youth Risk Behavior Survey<\/a>NBC reports that 57 per cent of teenager girls feel this way &#8220;persistently sad or hopeless,&#8221; Nearly 30% have even considered suicide. The past decade has seen a 60% rise in suicidal thoughts.<\/p>\n<p>The Covid-19 is true. <a href=\"https:\/\/jamanetwork.com\/journals\/jamanetworkopen\/fullarticle\/2779300?utm_source=For_The_Media&#038;utm_medium=referral&#038;utm_campaign=ftm_links&#038;utm_term=042921\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lockdowns<\/a> \u2014 which empirically did far more <a href=\"https:\/\/health.wusf.usf.edu\/health-news-florida\/2022-02-02\/a-johns-hopkins-study-says-ill-founded-lockdowns-did-little-to-limit-covid-deaths\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">harm<\/a> than good \u2014 did a <a href=\"https:\/\/adc.bmj.com\/content\/106\/8\/791\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">horrifying amount of damage<\/a> to the mental well-being of young people. It is true that the happiness of young women has fallen at a fast pace since Covid.<\/p>\n<p>Cross-sectional studies of more than 2,000 people in 2019. <a href=\"https:\/\/jamanetwork.com\/journals\/jamanetworkopen\/fullarticle\/2733430?utm_source=For_The_Media&#038;utm_medium=referral&#038;utm_campaign=ftm_links&#038;utm_term=051719\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">85,000 youth suicide deaths<\/a> Between 1975 and 2016, there was a consistent increase in suicides among teenage girls between 10-14 years old. From 2007 to 2015, the suicide rate for females increased by two-thirds. From 2007 to 2015, suicide rates doubled for females between the ages of 15 and 19. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/products\/databriefs\/db241.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">study<\/a> The CDC found that girls aged between 10 and 14 years were more likely to commit suicide than boys in a study done by them from 1999 through 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Suicide rates are rising in younger generations. According to the same CDC study, suicide rates for females aged between 15-24, 25-40, 65-74, and 65-74 increased from 31 to 53 per cent to 53percent. It will be a record in March 2021. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/data\/databriefs\/db398-H.pdf\">re<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/data\/databriefs\/db398-H.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vealed<\/a> From 1999 to 2019, the U.S. female suicide rate increased 51 percent to just under 6 per 100,000. It was particularly noticeable among women between 35-44 and 55.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not just suicide that is the problem. It&#8217;s the worst indicator of all that American women seem to be experiencing a growing tide of depressive disorders.<\/p>\n<p>2020 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nimh.nih.gov\/health\/statistics\/major-depression#part_2630\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according<\/a> According to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), adult females had a higher prevalence of &#8220;major depressive episodes&#8221; Men at 10.5 percent, compared to women at 10.5 percent. It should not be surprising that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/products\/databriefs\/db283.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">per the CDC in 2017<\/a>The 10.5 percent of females aged 18-44 and the 16.1% of those 45-64 reported taking antidepressants. The numbers are approximately 4.15 Million for the younger demographic, and just under 6.6 Million for the older.<\/p>\n<p>If <a href=\"https:\/\/jamanetwork.com\/journals\/jamanetworkopen\/fullarticle\/2770146\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">compared<\/a> Women have experienced a three-fold increase in their self-esteem compared to the prelockdown level. &#8220;depressive symptoms.&#8221; Therefore, it is plausible to assume that suicide rates will rise and antidepressant intake levels will increase. <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/changing-america\/well-being\/mental-health\/493125-increase-in-anti-anxiety-medication-antidepressants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">increase<\/a>Many standard medical procedures are not working, even though evidence is mounting. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.psychologytoday.com\/us\/blog\/side-effects\/202207\/decisive-blow-the-serotonin-hypothesis-depression\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ineffective<\/a> at treating depression.<\/p>\n<p>We are facing an existential crisis. The pharmaceutical industry, despite its best efforts to address it, has failed. While some of these problems may be physiological, there are also biochemical solutions that can help. However, it is often not enough to solve the whole problem.<\/p>\n<h2>Truely, what is a woman?<\/h2>\n<p>It was not made explicit by the Fae Johnstones. <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/10\/26\/being-a-woman-requires-more-than-makeup-dresses-and-tiktok-theatrics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dylan Mulvaneys<\/a> The sexual revolution that took place in 1960s was essentially a complete circle.<\/p>\n<p>In an industrial society, women are freed from all the domestic misery that Betty Friedan described. &#8220;the problem that has no name.&#8221; However, liberation theory essentially states that all cultural obligations based in JudeoChristian belief or Western traditionalalism are oppressive. Women themselves, however, have been a problem.<\/p>\n<p>Social, political and cultural definitions of woman have become disconnected from the traditional biological meaning of female, while being merged with stereotyped depictions of feminine femininity. Gender dysphoria in a male might lead to a tendency for the sexy. <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/02\/28\/big-businesses-like-kitchenaid-display-hatred-for-women-by-hiring-men-in-costumes-for-ads\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">color pink<\/a> Or to remove his reproductive organs surgically, but neither of these would make him a woman.\u00a0They make him a disturbed man.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>What is an ordered person?<\/h2>\n<p>Since the beginning, everyone knew that every thing in nature had a purpose. Everything is directed towards specific goals, so their orientation to these ends is their correct orientation.<\/p>\n<p>If a human heart can pump blood and maintain its own health, it&#8217;s properly organized. A dog that fulfills all the requirements of doggiedom is properly ordered. People are well-oriented when they live lives of excellence and virtue that allow them to use their special abilities to improve the world around them. We also need to consider the paradoxical side of human nature.<\/p>\n<p>Women and men have their unique roles. This was a truth that has been undisputed over millenia, but it became a source of contention in mid-20th-century. Transgenderism is now celebrated with a renewed embrace by those who want to acknowledge their gender identity. A biological male can be identified as a woman by the way he takes part in activities. &#8220;female-coded&#8221; behavior.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As Richard Reeves <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/culture\/how-men-were-made-redundant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">describes<\/a> In his most recent release &#8220;Of Boys and Men: Why the Modern Male Is Struggling, Why It Matters, and What to Do About It,&#8221; The U.S. feminist movement began to see women more from the 1960s. &#8220;liberated&#8221; They are pushed out of domestic responsibility into the academia and workplace. We are witnessing this today. As a result, men have been displaced from these institutions and it is becoming increasingly challenging for them to meet their cultural obligations.<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, Western men and boys are experiencing severe distress. They are dropping out of high school and underperforming at work, as well as committing suicide in alarming numbers. Because it is becoming more difficult for men and boys to organize themselves properly, they are in a terrible state of social redundancy.<\/p>\n<p>What is the point of expecting men to become fathers, protectors, or providers in a society which has long asserted that women are capable of all these things just as well, if perhaps better, than men? This partly explains America&#8217;s masculinity crisis.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Similar phenomena are occurring for women. Many have spoken out about men&#8217;s presence in female sports, locker rooms and bathrooms. Young women are being pushed out by this, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/07\/30\/truly-the-end-of-female-sports-athletes-and-congresswomen-fight-transgender-takeover\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">athletic scholarships<\/a> or leading to horrendous incidents <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/11\/02\/yes-its-fair-to-frame-the-loudoun-county-rape-as-a-cautionary-tale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sexual assault<\/a>  <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/09\/03\/charges-filed-against-transgender-sex-offender-for-exposing-himself-in-spa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">perversion<\/a>This is a problem that affects all women.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Both physical and psychological dangers for women are created by these situations. With institutions like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/06\/15\/biden-plan-transgender-youth-health-care-00039844\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Biden administration<\/a>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/projects\/empregabilidade\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">World Economic Forum<\/a>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-sports\/story\/_\/id\/33105305\/ncaa-updates-policy-transgender-participation-let-sport-set-requirements\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NCAA<\/a>It is probable that they will keep going, thanks to the support of many others who are united in their opposition to those who want to destroy womanhood&#8217;s meaning.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Similar to men&#8217;s expectations, women&#8217;s expectations have drastically changed. No serious individual will complain that women cannot pursue employment or education. It is possible, however, that women could be encouraged to &#8220;have it all,&#8221; It&#8217;s not all bad and can cause serious side effects.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Women should be encouraged to live apart from their biology by using things such as chemical birth control. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guttmacher.org\/fact-sheet\/contraceptive-use-united-states\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nearly a supermajority<\/a> Women aged between 15 and 49 years are included. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/national\/wp\/2018\/01\/27\/feature\/she-championed-the-idea-that-freezing-your-eggs-would-free-your-career-but-things-didnt-quite-work-out\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">in vitro fertilization<\/a> It has <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/5030447\/birth-control-side-effects-suicide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">empirically contributed<\/a> Despite the fact that women currently face a mental health crisis, the institutions leading the charge continue to march on. Why?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Consider that for six decades women in America have been forced to run their own households, rely on external productivity and be open-minded about men. This is why the crisis facing American women has become so severe.<\/p>\n<p>The conditions that women had been raised to flourish for many generations, much like their male counterparts have been abandoned. The West&#8217;s dominant ideology of fostering human happiness raises serious questions regarding the ability of many people to adapt.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p> Samuel Mangold Lenett works as a staff editor for The Federalist.
