The sheriff&#8217;s office says they are Honduran nationals. <\/p>\n<p>SCSO said they had cited them for illegal possession of the eagle. But, there are more serious charges. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hernandez-Tziquin was also cited for having No Drivers License,&#8221; SCSO stated. SCSO stated that the lack of identification caused <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/two-suspected-illegal-immigrants-killed-a-bald-eagle-federal-authorities-dont-seem-to-care\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suspicion<\/a> Information regarding citizenship status of men <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The U.S. Fish &#038; Wildlife Service Office of Law Enforcement has an open investigation into this incident, and has been working actively with the Stanton County Sheriff&#8217;s Office and Nebraska Game and Parks Commission since the day it occurred.
