He did so just one day prior to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/bernie-sanders-blasts-starbucks-ceo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">held a vote<\/a> Subpoena him. <\/p>\n<p>After the CEO of Starbucks repeatedly refused to give evidence before the Senate, the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee agreed to subpoena Schultz. The exact date of the testimony is not known. <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/bernie-sanders-blasts-starbucks-ceo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BERNIE SANDERS BLASTS STARBUCKS CEO FOR NOT UNIONIZING NATIONWIDE<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The HELP Committee was scheduled to vote tomorrow to subpoena him and I want to thank the members of the Committee who, in a bi-partisan way, were prepared to do just that,&#8221; Sanders <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AndrewDesiderio\/status\/1633148701303554048?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said in a statement<\/a>. &#8220;Let&#8217;s be clear. In America, workers have the constitutional right to organize unions and engage in collective bargaining to improve their wages and working conditions.
