<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GavinNewsom\/status\/1632811406344192000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Newsom tweeted.<\/a> &#8220;We&#8217;re done.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Newsom&#8217;s spokesperson further stated that &#8220;all relationships&#8221; Walgreens spokeswoman said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Once we are certified by the [Food and Drug Administration], we will dispense this medication consistent with federal and state laws,&#8221; The spokesperson continued. &#8220;Providing legally approved medications to patients is what pharmacies do, and is rooted in our commitment to the communities in which we operate.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Walgreens has nearly 9,000 locations in the United States. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2023\/03\/02\/walgreens-abortion-pills-00085325\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told POLITICO<\/a> It announced last week that it wouldn&#8217;t distribute abortion pills to almost two dozen state attorneys general who threatened legal action for selling abortion pills by post in those states.<\/p>\n<p>In four of the states \u2014 Alaska, Iowa, Kansas, and Montana \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2022\/us\/abortion-laws-roe-v-wade.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abortion remains legal<\/a> After the Supreme Court&#8217;s ruling in the summer of last year, which overturned the 1973 decision <em>Roe V.
