Such competition is a reckless gamble,&#8221; Qin was appointed to his position in late 2013 after serving as China&#8217;s Ambassador to the United States.<\/p>\n<p>It isn\u2019t the first time that Chinese officials warned U.S. counterparts about a potential future conflict if the relationship does not change. However, the fractured relationship between these two countries has been made worse by China\u2019s ongoing support. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/russia\">Russia&#8217;s<\/a> <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/war-in-ukraine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">invasion of Ukraine<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. officials have disclosed intelligence that suggests Beijing may be considering providing lethal assistance to Moscow for the conflict. However, U.S. leaders warn that such a move could lead to retaliation. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/restoring-america\/patriotism-unity\/pentagon-warns-of-consequences-for-china-russia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">significant response<\/a>. China provided non-lethal aid to Russia in order for Russia to bypass Western sanctions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;China and Russia have found a path of major country relations featuring strategic trust and good neighborliness, setting a good example for international relations,&#8221; Qin spoke of Russia-China relations. &#8220;The more unstable the world becomes, the more imperative it is for China and Russia to steadily advance their relations.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Qin suggested that China might provide weapons to Russia in comparison to the U.S. decision to arm, aid and withdraw. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/taiwan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Taiwan<\/a>The island country that has its own government despite Beijing&#8217;s claims that it is a part of China.
