However, this element of its ties to Beijing has been largely unknown \u2014 until now.<\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/hunter-biden-firm-teamed-up-chinese-military-company-assisting-russian-ukraine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HUNTER BIDEN FIRM TEAMED UP WITH CHINESE MILITARY COMPANY NOW HELPING RUSSIAN WAR IN UKRAINE<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>In 2014, the prestigious school partnered up with Tsinghua University High School, (TUHS), to help China adopt TJHSST&#8217;s science, technology and engineering (STEM). Tsinghua University considers TUHS to be a Chinese military school.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the agreement, Tsinghua University&#8217;s Thomas Jefferson Partnership Fund (TJPF), received hundreds of thousand dollars for its Thomas Jefferson Partnership Fund. TJPF was also awarded hundreds of thousands from Ameson Education and Cultural Exchange Foundation. The Chinese company Shirble received money as part of the agreement. Both were run by men connected to China\u2019s United Front Work Department. TJPF\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tjpartnershipfund.org\/about\/mission-and-history\">exists<\/a>\u00a0Support the Virginia school and the fund\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tjpartnershipfund.org\/uploaded\/FINAL_20170626_Restated_Bylaws.pdf\">board of directors<\/a>\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tjpartnershipfund.org\/about\/our-team\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">includes<\/a>\u00a0TJ&#8217;s principal, assistant Principal, faculty representatives, as well the head of TJs parent-teacher association.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mid-article-insert\">\n<div id=\"dsk-banner-ad-f\" class=\"GoogleDfpAd\" data-slot-position=\"90\" data-bsp-plugin=\"Module29296\" data-google-query-id=\"CMfEtuSIyv0CFfANigMdWAgOTw\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/134702932,4026082\/0590-washingtonexaminer.com\/0590-dsk-banner-ad-f_0__container__\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Parents Defending Education, a non-profit grassroots organization\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/defendinged.org\/investigations\/fairfax-county-public-schools-top-stem-academy-fund-received-over-a-million-dollars-in-funding-from-chinese-organizations-documents-show\/\">helped unearth<\/a>\u00a0TJHSST was funded by China. Virginia School did not reply to our request for comment. TJPF\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tjpartnershipfund.org\/uploaded\/photos\/Newsletters\/TJPF_Newsletter_2014_Back-to-School.pdf\">said<\/a>\u00a0TJHS was established in November 2014. &#8220;will be partnering with&#8221; TUHS, the announced fund &#8220;Tsinghua University made a $300,000 donation.&#8221; This university was nicknamed a &#8220;Jefferson Founding Partner.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>However, TUHS&#8217;s troubling links are well-known. The Pentagon\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/media.defense.gov\/2020\/Sep\/01\/2002488689\/-1\/-1\/1\/2020-DOD-CHINA-MILITARY-POWER-REPORT-FINAL.PDF\">assessed<\/a>\u00a0In 2020, there were &#8220;Military-Civil Fusion linkages&#8221; Tsinghua University. &#8220;People&#8217;s Liberation Army-affiliated labs.&#8221; This report was prepared in 2022 for the U.S. China Economic and Security Review Commission.\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uscc.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2022-11\/Personnel_Peoples_Liberation_Army.pdf\">noted<\/a>\u00a0PLA Air Force &#8220;established the \u2018Dual-Enrollment Program&#8217; with Tsinghua University.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Australian Strategic Policy Institute is also available.\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/unitracker.aspi.org.au\/universities\/tsinghua-university\/\">found<\/a>\u00a0Tsinghua University &#8220;jointly supervised&#8221; By the &#8220;State Administration of Science, Technology, and Industry for National Defense.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We already knew the Chinese Communist Party infiltrated America&#8217;s colleges and universities through \u2018Confucius Institute&#8217; programs,&#8221; The Washington Examiner was told by Nicki Neily (PDE&#8217;s founder and president). &#8220;However, it is frightening to discover the same problem occurring in K-12 schools.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>TUHS\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20230218023648\/https:\/\/www.qhfz.edu.cn\/xxgk.htm\">says<\/a>\u00a0It is &#8220;attached&#8221; Tsinghua University is &#8220;directly under the Ministry of Education.&#8221; TUHS principal\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20230218031839\/https:\/\/www.qhfz.edu.cn\/info\/1022\/18731.htm\">noted<\/a>\u00a0This school is &#8220;under the guidance&#8221; CCP and TUHS leaders also include CCP officials. The advisory board for TUHS International is also available.\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20221028131231\/http:\/\/www.this.edu.cn\/en\/advisory-board\/\">includes<\/a>\u00a0Mao Daqing, a part of &#8220;United Front Work Department of CCP Central Committee.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ameson was also\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tjpartnershipfund.org\/uploaded\/photos\/Newsletters\/TJPF_Newsletter_2015_Back-to-School.pdf\">named<\/a>\u00a0The following are some of the &#8220;Jefferson Founding Partners &#038; International Partners&#8221; For a donation exceeding $250,000 in 2015 and for an amount equal to or greater than that in 2016,\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tjpartnershipfund.org\/uploaded\/photos\/Newsletters\/TJPF_Newsletter_2016_Back-to-School.pdf\">similar donation<\/a>. Its &#8220;honorary chairman&#8221; Boutros Boutros Boutros Ghali was the former U.N. Secretary General.\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/projects.propublica.org\/nonprofits\/display_990\/134017822\/2014_09_EO%2F13-4017822_990_201306\">tax records show<\/a>\u00a0It &#8220;founder and chairman&#8221; Sean Wuhua Zhang.
