We will be seeing much more of her in the future,\u201d Faulkner said, after interviewing the former press secretary.<\/p>\n<p>A Fox spokesperson told The Epoch Times via email that McEnany will be\u00a0an on-air commentator.<\/p>\n<p>McEnany, 32, became the White House press secretary in April 2020, serving in the position until former President Donald Trump left office in January.<\/p>\n<p>She also worked for Trump\u2019s campaign and the Republican National Committee.<\/p>\n<p>McEnany previously held jobs at CNN and Fox, where she produced for \u201cHuckabee.\u201d She graduated from Harvard Law School in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-3717517\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Trump_MAGA_rally_in_Grand_Rapids9A6A0033-1200x800-1.jpg\" alt=\"Epoch Times Photo\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Kayleigh McEnany, the Trump 2020 campaign press secretary, before President Donald Trump\u2019s MAGA rally in Grand Rapids, Mich., on March 28, 2019. (Charlotte Cuthbertson\/The Epoch Times)<\/p>\n<p>In Tuesday\u2019s interview, McEnany said she was shocked when protesters stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, recounting it \u201ca very hard, difficult day in the White House.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also said she sees differences between herself and her successor, Jen Psaki.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll never forget watching one of the early press briefings where she was asked about Antifa riots and I believe she said that she hadn\u2019t spoken to the president about that. They let her move on, whereas if I would have been asked that about violence on the other side of the aisle \u2026 that wouldn\u2019t have been an answer that flew, nor should it have,\u201d McEnany said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think the standards are different but the American people are so smart, so wise, they see the difference,\u201d she added, describing some reporters as \u201cpolitical operatives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McEnany left Psaki a note wishing her the best, similar to how Trump left President Joe Biden a note.<\/p>\n<p>McEnany was speaking during her first interview since leaving office.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kayleigh McEnany, the former White House press secretary, has joined Fox News, the network announced Tuesday.
