Since then, he has been in hospital and there have not been any update on when he can return to the Senate. <\/p>\n<p>The senator&#8217;s spouse tweeted that her husband had died. &#8220;continues to challenge the conversation&#8221; after &#8220;society&#8217;s expectations and traditional gender roles play a part in why men are less likely to discuss or seek help for their mental health.&#8221; <\/p>\n<div class=\"Enhancement\">\n<div class=\"Enhancement-item\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The society&#8217;s norms and gender roles are a major reason why men tend to be less open about seeking help or discussing their mental health.
