A number of us had inquired because, you know, these are \u2014 the special counsels for when there&#8217;s a conflict,&#8221; Jordan stated this in an interview on Sunday with Maria Bartiromo of Fox News. <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/jim-jordan-demands-answers-garland-hunter-biden-investigation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JIM JORDAN DEMANDS ANSWERS FROM GARLAND ABOUT HUNTER BIDEN INVESTIGATION<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And there certainly seems to be a conflict when you&#8217;ve got a U.S. attorney investigating the son of the former candidate for president, current president of the United States. Why isn&#8217;t there a special counsel?&#8221; Jordan continued. <\/p>\n<p>Jordan <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/jim-jordan-demands-answers-garland-hunter-biden-investigation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote a letter<\/a> Last week Attorney General Merrick Garland asked for documents and answers about the Justice Department&#8217;s investigation into the younger Biden. This is because of his possible interfering with U.S. Foreign Affairs. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;To date, you have declined to appoint a special counsel in this matter, despite appointing special counsels in other investigations.
