A maritime militia adds around 1000s more ships.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, there are about 2,000 U.S. Navy sailors. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfr.org\/backgrounder\/sea-power-us-navy-and-foreign-policy\">295 ships<\/a> To cover all of the world.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Chinese shipyards have been launching at about a rate of five to one over the last decade. So for every warship we put in the water, they put five, and they have a much bigger shipbuilding capacity than we do, we have allowed ours to wither. And the Chinese have built theirs up just at a breathtaking speed,&#8221; Newsham said that the &#8220;China in Focus&#8221; NTD on March 4.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If Chinese authorities pick their spots, and get the right circumstances, they would give us a real bloody nose to put it mildly,&#8221; He warned.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And we&#8217;ve effectively allowed them to catch up with us and overtake us. Over the last 20 years, at least we dismiss the threat and refuse to address it,&#8221; He added.<\/p>\n<h2>Many-Sided War<\/h2>\n<p>China has waged a many-sided war on the United States for several decades, according\u00a0to Newsham.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What I point out is that China is already attacking us.
