The Deseret News obtained case documents from the Utah Division of Child and Family Services, which were obtained through a public record request.<\/p>\n<p>An investigation was opened by the agency 11 days prior to the incident. It focused on the abuse that the oldest child of the couple had suffered in the past.<\/p>\n<p>Just days prior to Haight&#8217;s visit, Haight was accused in another alleged incident of abuse. He is accused of throwing his 7 year-old son on the floor after getting upset. Tausha Haight was his wife and stated to a caseworker she was worried about her husband&#8217;s tone. &#8220;how he looks when he is angry,&#8221; This is what the report said.<\/p>\n<p>Caseworkers were asked not to interview her husband before she filed for divorcement, Dec. 21.
