But now, it&#8217;s chalk and cheese.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Fraser is a former social science teacher who was one of the first to access a high-intensity, new telehealth program for those living with aphasia.<\/p>\n<p>Nationally, more than 140,000 suffer from the condition that limits their ability to communicate. This is usually caused by strokes which damage the parts of the brain involved in language.<\/p>\n<p>University of Queensland&#8217;s Aphasia research centre has been developing CHAT for over ten years.
