You are probably familiar with the famous Chinese balloon, which was recently seen traversing several U.S. States, including Montana and Alaska before it was destroyed in South Carolina. Chinese Communist Party (CCP), quickly criticizing the quick-fire response, claimed that the balloon was just a weather device that had been diverted. The balloon was not a meteorological device, but a surveillance instrument. The Chinese threat still exists, though the balloon may be gone. The threat from China posed by CCP was never as strong as it is now.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chertoffgroup.com\/team\/mira-ricardel\">Mira Ricardel<\/a>A geopolitical expert told me by, that the CCP &#8220;is both an economic competitor and military adversary.&#8221; Xi Jinping&#8217;s policies of &#8220;civil-military fusion&#8221; The United States cannot now separate China&#8217;s military and international ambitions from their economic goals. As a military view, Ms. Ricardel pointed out that China continues to increase its PLA presence at the South China Sea and threaten Taiwan. As U.S. General Mike Minihan <a href=\"https:\/\/fortune.com\/2023\/01\/28\/war-china-taiwan-likely-by-2025-warns-american-general-mike-minihan\/\">recently warned<\/a>It seems that war with China on Taiwan is inevitable. Beijing has also increased its influence on allegedly private businesses, like ByteDance which is the company behind TikTok. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thepublicdiscourse.com\/2021\/07\/76630\/\">Trojan horse<\/a> This was designed to accumulate a lot of data.<\/p>\n<p>China also has purchased many other countries over the years. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/china-is-buying-a-lot-of-foreign-companies-2016-2\">a lot of foreign companies<\/a> There are many other things to consider. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/the-chinese-are-buying-the-farm-north-dakota-hong-kong-land-food-shortage-supply-chain-usda-11662666515\">foreign land<\/a>This includes prime American farmland.
