Residents were advised to stay away from the affected area by city officials.<\/p>\n<p>Ron Snyder, public information officer at Maryland State Police (MDSP), said that smoke and flames were visible in the air following the explosion of the tanker on U.S. Route 15 Maryland.<\/p>\n<p>Snyder confirmed that Snyder was the one who said the driver of this tanker had died at the scene.
