Additionally, more than 200 Scout vehicles per year could be manufactured annually at this facility.<\/p>\n<p>VW stated in May it was bringing back the Scout brand off-road in America. The new Scout pickups will be available with electric motors, and the sport-utility vehicle (SUV) option.<\/p>\n<p>The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for mid-2023, and production is expected to start by 2026. Scout is an American company that Volkswagen Group owns and operates.
