Why? Why?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Congress added a clause to its Omnibus Appropriations Act in December that defunded the Wuhan Institute of Virology. <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.whitecoatwaste.org\/2022\/12\/21\/omnibus-bill-to-cut-funds-to-wuhan-virology-lab\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">appeared<\/a>\u00a0It was intended to defund similar research in China but this section seems hollow. Although EcoHealth was prohibited from transferring tax dollars directly to the Wuhan Institute of Virology by the law, it still has the ability to direct taxpayer funds into China.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/117th-congress\/house-bill\/2617\/text\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>SEC. 8143.<\/em><\/a>\u00a0<em>EcoHealth Alliance, Inc. cannot use any funds provided by this Act for research in China that is supported by the government.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>What &#8220;national security interest&#8221; What could be the possible motive behind EcoHealth Alliance&#8217;s directing funds to China for research that is supported by CCP? The Federalist tried to reach out to the Department of Defense, but was not answered. Another interesting question arises from this: How secretive is CCP-funded research that the American public can&#8217;t see?\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Many are aware of Dr. Anthony Fauci\u2019s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases&#8217; (NIAID) approval of millions of dollars for EcoHealth Alliance. The nonprofit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/01\/26\/report-nih-threw-ecohealth-alliance-millions-of-tax-dollars-to-study-coronaviruses-then-didnt-supervise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">used for<\/a>\u00a0Research on bat-based coronaviruses and potentially dangerous gain-of function at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The NIAID is not the largest government funder of EcoHealth Alliance. It is the Department of Defense that has allocated EcoHealth Alliance funds since 2008. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usaspending.gov\/recipient\/12d878d7-3cbe-c819-e51e-7891f98ae955-C\/all\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$46 million<\/a>. Is there any reason why our military can&#8217;t send research money via EcoHealth Alliance to China for nine months? We don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n<p>We are also unsure who was responsible for creating the loophole in our bill. The Federalist reached out the Democrats&#8217; House leadership and the Senate leadership for the Appropriations Committee on Defense. They would have been in charge when the Omnibus Spending Package was passed. However, they did not receive a response.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We don&#8217;t know who created the loophole in our spending bill and what it was for. &#8220;security interests&#8221; The Pentagon is sending money to China via the corrupt EcoHealth Alliance. We do know that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/03\/02\/faced-with-their-own-idiocy-on-the-lab-leak-media-double-down-on-calling-you-a-racist-rube\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">after two years of gaslighting and censorship<\/a>Two government agencies, the FBI and the Department of Energy, concluded that the coronavirus was most likely a result of leaking from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Worldwide, the Wuhan virus claimed more than 6,000,000 lives and provided world leaders with an excuse to use social and physical control to oppress the masses. There is no logical reason for the United States to continue giving EcoHealth Alliance \u2014 the Wuhan lab&#8217;s partner in crime \u2014\u00a0<em>Any<\/em>\u00a0Federal funding is not available in China, particularly for China.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>EcoHealth Alliance should have stopped funding public health programs two years ago. A U.S. investigation should have been conducted into the source of the virus, as well as the connection between EcoHealth Alliance and the Wuhan Institute of Virology.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Instead, Big Tech and the corrupt corporate press have provided cover for the worst offenders. This has enabled loopholes like the one that was mysteriously created, the lack of accountability at the Pentagon, and the continued existence of EcoHealth Alliance.<\/p>\n<p>Media have been around for years &#8220;fact-checkers&#8221; The lab leak hypothesis was declared a &#8220;conspiracy theory&#8221; and directed social media companies to silence anyone \u2014 including doctors \u2014 who suggested it was a potential origin of the virus. If tech companies and the media allowed everyone to freely discuss possible origins, then the court of public opinion would have sided with the laboratory leak theory. <a href=\"https:\/\/morningconsult.com\/2023\/02\/28\/public-more-likely-to-believe-coronavirus-leaked-from-chinese-lab\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">earlier<\/a> EcoHealth Alliance, as well as the other government agencies that had supported it throughout the years, were required to account for their support.
