Perry also attacked a COVID-19 vaccine requirement imposed by Biden&#8217;s administration. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/video\/?526365-1\/cpac-2023-day-1#\">comments<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He made his controversial statements, asserting that the government doesn&#8217;t have the right tell people to buy an electrical vehicle or inject experimental drugs into their arms.<\/p>\n<p>The lawmaker expressed his conviction that the American government was attacking the nation&#8217;s sovereignty and state sovereignty as well as personal sovereignty.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They&#8217;ve got to be put on notice. They&#8217;ve got to be quaking in fear,&#8221; Perry spoke about Biden officials pushing for more regulation to Americans.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They&#8217;ve got to be worried. They&#8217;ve got to be losing weight because they&#8217;re not eating because they&#8217;re worried that they&#8217;re going to end up going to jail for using the awesome power of the federal government,&#8221; Perry stated.<\/p>\n<p>The congressman pledged to use the government in order to make his political opposition fearful.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And if they&#8217;re not interested in showing up in Mr. Jordan&#8217;s hearing, you know what? I&#8217;m in charge now on the Transportation Committee of Federal Leases,&#8221; He suggested that he would use his power to punish his political enemies via their office spaces.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;That&#8217;s something I wonder, who&#8217;s leases might become \u2026 Well, we&#8217;re taking a look at the list,&#8221; He said that he would be applauded by the crowd.<\/p>\n<p>Pennsylvania lawmaker continued to state that the average citizen should be able to &#8220;acknowledge and accept that every single facet of the federal government is weaponizing against every single one of us.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He believed that people should defend their rights, their states&#8217; and their right of self-government.<\/p>\n<p>Perry continued: &#8220;The government doesn&#8217;t have the right to tell you that you can&#8217;t buy a gas stove but that you must buy an electric vehicle. That you can&#8217;t go to work but you must put some experimental potion in your arm and then keep showing up to do that to visit your church of worship.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our personal sovereignty is what this nation was built on, and \u2026 it is under assault by every single facet of the government,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>House Republicans are leading several investigations into the Biden administration&#8217;s alleged &#8220;Weaponization&#8221; of government agencies.<\/p>\n<p>The GOP-controlled House pushed through a measure to establish a Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government in January.<\/p>\n<p>The subcommittee, which is a part of the House Judiciary Committee, is presided over by Rep.\u00a0Jim Jordan (R-Ohio).
