Cornell University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Harvard University have extended test-optional admissions policies through the 2023-2024 cycle. Princeton University and Princeton University, however, extended the policy through 2025-2026 cycles. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.columbiaspectator.com\/news\/2023\/03\/01\/columbia-first-ivy-to-go-permanently-test-optional\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a> Columbia Spectator<\/p>\n<p>Columbia will not discriminate against applicants who don&#8217;t submit standard test results. &#8220;We will continue to evaluate all submitted information within an individualized application review process that considers the unique combination of circumstances shaping each applicant&#8217;s journey,&#8221; The university was also added.<\/p>\n<p>This phenomenon is not limited to undergraduate admissions. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/american-bar-association-endorses-dropping-lsat-for-admission-to-law-school\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">endorsed<\/a> Dropping the LSAT as an admission requirement last year for law schools<\/p>\n<p>The College Board administers the SAT and even though prominent universities have dropped testing requirements, it still accepts admissions officers. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/the-sat-is-about-to-be-shorter-easier-and-completely-online\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> Students who take the exam now have more time to answer each question because the test has been rewritten to be shorter and easier. Scores for the ACT are now available <a href=\"https:\/\/leadershipblog.act.org\/2022\/10\/GradClassRelease2022.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lowest average<\/a> This phenomenon has been observed for three decades and was associated with poor school lockdown outcomes. There are reports of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/aspiring-medical-students-at-top-school-get-their-chemistry-professor-fired-because-his-class-had-high-standards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cheating and declining standards<\/a> In the meantime, they have emerged from the nation\u2019s universities as institutions end remote learning arrangements to return to traditional instruction.<\/p>\n<p><b data-stringify-type=\"bold\"><a class=\"c-link\" href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-stringify-link=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" data-sk=\"tooltip_parent\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-12435\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Many universities eliminate the requirement for standardized testing in order to be able to offer courses. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/uc-system-discarded-sat-test-as-hard-on-minorities-they-ignored-study-saying-it-actually-helped-minority-admissions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">advance<\/a> purported racial equity. As the Supreme Court may decide, Columbia&#8217;s standardized examination submissions are permanently ended. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/the-supreme-court-may-kill-affirmative-action-heres-what-you-need-to-know\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rule<\/a> Affirmative action, which encourages universities to admit individuals from different minority groups, is strongly opposed.<\/p>\n<p>Numerous studies have shown the disadvantages of Asian applicants and white students as universities try to make room for Hispanic and black students.
