As The Federalist <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/02\/21\/how-georgia-became-democrats-test-site-for-their-2024-private-takeover-of-election-offices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a>The Alliance is an <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/01\/20\/inside-democrats-newest-election-takeover-scheme-report-unmasks-dark-money-group-youve-probably-never-heard-of\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Venture capital of $80 million<\/a> Left-leaning nonprofits launched the website last year &#8220;systematically influence every aspect of election administration&#8221; Democrat-backed voting policy in local elections offices.<\/p>\n<p>DeKalb officials accepted the grant from Alliance despite Georgia Republicans passing SB 202 in 2021. DeKalb officials requested that the county&#8217;s financial department apply for the grant instead of their election office accepting the funds. Dele Lowman Smith, DeKalb Board of Registration and Elections Chair\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/decaturish.com\/2023\/01\/dekalb-voter-registration-and-elections-receives-2-million-excellence-grant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">admitted<\/a>This was accomplished &#8220;since election offices are not allowed to receive grants directly.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It wasn&#8217;t just the spirit of the Election Integrity Act of 2021 that was violated, it was also in the manner in which it was done \u2014 without the full election board&#8217;s knowledge; conspiring with high-level DeKalb County employees without transparency, and with what was a blatant effort to circumvent Georgia&#8217;s election laws,&#8221; Marci McCarthy is the chair of DeKalb County GOP and spoke to The Federalist. &#8220;I commend the Georgia Senate for passing SB 222.&#8221;<\/p>\n[<strong>READ:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/02\/21\/how-georgia-became-democrats-test-site-for-their-2024-private-takeover-of-election-offices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">How Georgia Became Democrats&#8217; Test Site For Their 2024 Private Takeover Of Election Offices<\/a><\/strong>]\n<p>CTCL was one of the many groups that received support during the 2020 election.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.techandciviclife.org\/100m\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Many millions of dollars<\/a>\u00a0Mark Zuckerberg, Meta CEO These are &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/10\/12\/the-2020-election-wasnt-stolen-it-was-bought-by-mark-zuckerberg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zuckbucks<\/a>&#8221; were given to local election offices across the country in battleground states in an effort to reform how elections were managed. Even worse, the grants were heavily skewed towards Democrat-majority areas, effectively making it a massive Democrat getout-the vote operation.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence \u2014 of which CTCL is a key partner \u2014 is attempting to replicate the strategy ahead of the 2024 elections. This is a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.honestelections.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/HEP_Locke_Alliance-for-Election-Excellence-Report-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Recent report<\/a>The Honest Elections Project, and the John Locke Foundation showed how the Alliance seeks.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/01\/20\/inside-democrats-newest-election-takeover-scheme-report-unmasks-dark-money-group-youve-probably-never-heard-of\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">skirt<\/a>\u00a0Existing &#8220;Zuckbucks&#8221; Bans and restrictions passed by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/capitalresearch.org\/article\/states-banning-zuck-bucks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">24 states<\/a>\u00a0By providing election offices &#8220;scholarships&#8221; These scholarships are used to pay for membership fees.
