Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) has called on his fellow Republicans to further President Trump\u2019s \u2018America First\u2019 border security policies. In an interview at CPAC over the weekend, he asserted that President Trump was \u201cthe first to get immigration right in a very long time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This comes amid critics suggesting the Biden administration\u2019s reinstatement of catch-and-release policy is part of the radical left\u2019s open borders agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Cotton noted that while some businesses want cheap migrant labor, weak immigration policies are not what the average American voter wants.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhether it\u2019s President in 2024 or senator in Congress in 2022, they want Republicans who will follow the \u2018America First\u2019 principles that President Trump laid down,\u201d stated the Arkansas lawmaker. \u201cIf you\u2019re not gonna put America first, where Joe Biden says he doesn\u2019t, where are you going to put America?
