He said that Trump&#8217;s style wasn&#8217;t what America needed right now.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Pence stated: &#8220;I am convinced that Hillary Clinton could not have been defeated by Donald Trump in 2016, but I believe we live in a different era and it requires different leadership.&#8221; &#8220;I am very confident that we will have better choices in 2024. I am confident that our standard-bearer in November will win.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Many reports claim that Trump and Pence have been estranged since January 6.<sup>Th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Pence said that while the American people would prefer us to return to the Trump-Pence policy, they also desire leadership that reflects American character.
