She lost her legs after Janae, who was a convicted felon who had repeatedly violated his release conditions, drove her 20 mph faster than the speed limit. <\/p>\n<p>Daniel Riley, who, according to police, didn&#8217;t attempt brake before the accident, has been charged with second degree assault, driving without valid license and other offenses. Missourians claim that Kim Gardner, the St. Louis Circuit attorney, is really to blame.<\/p>\n<p>Gardner joined the circuit thanks to George Soros (the Democrat megadonor, who is well-known for his fatal soft-on crime policies and politicians). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stltoday.com\/news\/local\/govt-and-politics\/st-louis-circuit-attorney-candidate-defends-accepting-super-pac-campaign-money-from-liberal-billionaire\/article_11036aaf-4b1b-58cd-871f-4084f1ec1485.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2016<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Gardner chose to address the thousands of cases pending on her desk and instead used her tenure. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/live-updates-protests-for-racial-justice\/2020\/07\/20\/893345005\/st-louis-prosecutor-charges-white-couple-with-threatening-protesters-with-guns\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">prosecute<\/a> Her political foes, like the couple who attempted to defend their home from Black Lives Matter protesters in the summer 2020, were her political enemies. Gardner had banned dozens of St. Louis police officers from bringing cases against her one year prior. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plainviewproject.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Anti-police Group<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/f31560afcbbb4f9e86ede7b3835576fe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">They were accused of being racist<\/a>. Gardner was not doing this. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heritage.org\/crime-and-justice\/commentary\/meet-kimberly-gardner-the-rogue-prosecutor-whose-policies-are-wreaking\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Traveled on activist trips sponsored and organized by pro-criminal organizations<\/a> She also raked in more Soros money for her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stltoday.com\/news\/local\/crime-and-courts\/gardner-easily-wins-primary-for-st-louis-circuit-attorney\/article_84e24c99-6db7-5d69-99cf-80763b4994a8.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">re-election campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Riley was able get behind the wheel on that fateful February night because Gardner delayed Riley&#8217;s July 2022 trial in 2020 for an armed robbery. Gardner claimed that she was unprepared at the time. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0&#8220;Witnesses and victim timely appear. Defense ready. State announces \u2018not ready,'&#8221; Bryan Hettenbach, the judge in chief, wrote. <\/p>\n<p>Instead of sending Riley to jail for robbing people with guns, lawyers were forced to cancel the charges and refile them. Riley was sent home with only GPS bracelet-enforced arrest terms. <\/p>\n<p>Riley had already violated his bond terms before the July trial. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ksdk.com\/article\/news\/investigations\/i-team-man-caused-crash-involving-volleyball-player-gps-monitoring\/63-ae9d4b88-c030-4d62-af27-b752f45bb0c4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Minimum 37 times<\/a>. A judge even placed him under house arrest in April 2022 because he failed to comply with the GPS monitoring system rules. Gardner didn&#8217;t care about that.<\/p>\n<p>Gardner&#8217;s office was not notified by Riley that Riley had violated his conditions at least 40 times after the trial. Riley did this five days before Riley struck Edmondson. The prosecutor never moved to revoke Riley\u2019s bond. Riley was indicted by a grand jury for armed robbery, on January 17, 2023. However, he continued to break his house arrest orders.<\/p>\n<p>Riley was the one who beat Edmondson to death. He was then taken into jail and held without bail. Edmondson&#8217;s parents were not happy about this. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ksdk.com\/article\/news\/local\/janae-edmondson-now-knows-she-no-longer-has-her-legs\/63-14882f65-9286-42d5-9b32-494f2947772c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;beg&#8221;<\/a> To be a judge. <\/p>\n<p>Minimal coverage <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/crime\/teen-lost-legs-car-accident-learning-life-driver-custody\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">People<\/a> Corporate media have not paid much attention to Edmondson&#8217;s rehabilitation or the crimes against her.
