In recent years, her colleagues raised concerns about Feinstein&#8217;s mental health.<\/p>\n<p>Feinstein, who is a member since 1994 of the upper chamber, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/dianne-feinstein-not-running-for-re-election-in-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Last month, announced<\/a> She would not run for re-election in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Three prominent House Democrats \u2014 Reps. Adam Schiff, Katie Porter, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/barbara-lee-announces-bid-for-dianne-feinsteins-senate-seat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barbara Lee<\/a> \u2014 have announced campaigns to replace Feinstein in the Senate.<\/p>\n<p>John Fetterman (a Pennsylvania Senate Democrat) is having health problems.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Fetterman suffered a stroke in the course of his campaign last year and was admitted to hospital two weeks ago for treatment of clinical depression. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/senator-fettermans-office-releases-new-statement-about-his-treatment-at-mental-health-facility\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">According to his office<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>With 48 senators plus three independents, Democrats control the Senate.
