Texas), would draw &#8220;$4.4 billion from the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security for FY 2024 for the state of Texas,&#8221; Fox News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/house-republicans-renew-push-reimburse-texas-operation-lone-star-border-security-push\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/house-republicans-renew-push-reimburse-texas-operation-lone-star-border-security-push&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1677792800786000&#038;usg=AOvVaw03VNZ8aV0qeFDnnkNZ8U4e\">reported<\/a>. The state would use the funds to cover Operation Lone Star&#8217;s costs. This is an independent effort to combat border crises that Republicans attribute to President Joe Biden\u2019s failed immigration policies.<\/p>\n<p>The bill is proposed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/628762440\/The-Lone-Star-Reimbursement-Act#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/628762440\/The-Lone-Star-Reimbursement-Act%23&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1677792800786000&#038;usg=AOvVaw0d2k9BaBSzfNihESW-soHL\">Notes<\/a> That &#8220;Operation Lone Star has led to over 348,000 illegal immigrant apprehensions and more than 24,000 criminal arrests, with more than 22,000 felony charges reported.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Texas has been forced by this administration to go it alone when it comes to securing our border,&#8221;
