He now faces one count of aggravated assault on an education worker or elected official. Records show that he is being held in prison on a $1million bond.<\/p>\n<p>An arraignment is planned for March 6, 2023.<\/p>\n<p><i><strong>Warning: This video contains violence and is very intense. \u00a0Some may find it inappropriate and caution is advised.<\/strong><\/i><\/p>\n<div class=\"featured featured-video video-ct\">\n<div class=\"contain\">\n<div class=\"info\">\n<div class=\"caption\">\n<h4 class=\"title\">Video captures moment Florida teacher&#8217;s aid is knocked unconscious.<\/h4>\n<p>Investigators claim that a new surveillance video from Flagler County Sheriff&#8217;s Office shows a Florida high school student knocking out a school employee.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Flagler County Sheriff&#8217;s Office released surveillance video last week that shows the teacher&#8217;s help walking down the hallway, then briefly looking back as she is pushed by the student. The student is about 6&#8217;6 inches tall and 270 lbs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox35orlando.com\/news\/florida-teen-accused-of-beating-up-teachers-aide-had-been-arrested-for-battery-in-the-past-documents\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>RELATED: Matanzas High teenager accused of attacking teacher&#8217;s assistant had been charged with battery in the past: documents<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The video shows the student pushing the aid several hundred feet and knocking the victim to the ground. She then becomes unconscious. Officials said that the boy then kicks and punches the unconscious woman at least fifteen times in her head and back.<\/p>\n<div class=\"featured featured-video video-ct\">\n<div class=\"contain\">\n<div class=\"info\">\n<div class=\"caption\">\n<h4 class=\"title\">A violently knocking down a teacher at school for Nintendo Switch has led to a teenager being arrested<\/h4>\n<p>Matanzas High School student, 17, was arrested after she allegedly knocked out a teacher after taking his Nintendo Switch videogame.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to the arrest affidavit the student stated that he was angry that his teacher took away his Nintendo Switch. He also made comments about how he would never use it again. &#8220;beat her up&#8221;  &#8220;kill her.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Flagler Schools spokesperson said that the victim was a Flagler School employee since 2004. He also worked as a paraprofessional in Flagler Schools since 2021. Since then, the teacher has been released from the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>FOX 35 News examined court records to discover that the teenager had a history with violence. \u00a0Court records show that the 17-year old was charged with battery three more times in 2019 and again this month.<\/p>\n<p>Court records show that he was a former employee of the Department of Juvenile Justice. He also completed his program. The state attorney&#8217;s office transferred the teen to an adult court for the latest charge. Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly supports this decision.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This student is just six months shy of age 18, and it was also a brutal attack on this teacher,&#8221; Sheriff Staly. &#8220;Fortunately, this didn&#8217;t result in a fatality. This could be a homicide we are talking about.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>FOX 35 reported that there was once a school for troubled teens located in Flagler County. It was open to students who were unable to function in a traditional classroom setting or are too violent for classes on traditional campuses. Flagler County voters did not pass a 50 cent millage property tax leviey in 2013 to pay for the school. It would have cost homeowners $50 per year.
