The theory was also dismissed by other outlets, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NPR\/status\/1344588336288190464?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NPR<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/culture\/culture-features\/covid-19-lab-leak-natural-market-theory-conspiracy-theory-1176213\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rolling Stone<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/foreignpolicy.com\/2022\/09\/15\/conspiracy-theories-covid-19-commission\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Foreign Policy<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2021\/03\/31\/health\/lab-leak-coronavirus-theory-comic-book-scn\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CNN<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tomselliott\/status\/1630291525493039104?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NBC<\/a>And <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/04\/30\/us\/politics\/trump-administration-intelligence-coronavirus-china.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The New York Times<\/a>Just to name a few.<\/p>\n<p> Legacy Media lies, lied, and lied some more <\/p>\n<p>It was not enough, however, that the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/10\/31\/senate-report-says-covid-more-likely-than-not-came-from-lab-leak-after-medias-conspiracy-theory-smear\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">U.S. Senate<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligence.house.gov\/uploadedfiles\/covid-19_and_the_wuhan_institute_of_virology_19_may_2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">House of Representatives<\/a>Former Director of National Intelligence <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/healthcare\/trump-spy-chief-high-degree-confidence-wuhan-lab\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">John Ratcliffe<\/a> The lab-leak theory has been confirmed by statements and reports over the past three year. Legacy media, however, had their own narrative and followed it in lockstep.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most outrageous tactics used against the theory was to intentionally confuse the hypothesis with speculations that Covid-19 was a Chinese bioweapon created and unleashed on the world. Case in point: Sen. Tom Cotton.<\/p>\n<p>The Arkansas Republican suggested that the virus might have leaked from Wuhan&#8217;s lab during a Fox News appearance in February 2020. &#8220;We need to at least ask the question&#8221; Concerning a possible lab leak in China &#8220;duplicity and dishonesty&#8221; The outbreak of the pandemic.
