Cail won a medal in a relay race.<\/p>\n<p>Cail also won the silver medal at 1998-1999 World Aquatics, formerly FINA Swimming World Cup in Brazil. She was an undergraduate at the University of Maine and competed as a swimmer on the Black Bears team in the 2000-2001 seasons.<\/p>\n<p>She worked in a coffee shop while living in the Virgin Islands.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She was just a very beautiful person,&#8221; Refer a friend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wmur.com\/article\/new-hampshire-woman-death-us-virgin-islands-under-investigation\/43073512#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Told WMUR<\/a>. &#8220;She had a huge heart. (Cail) was really loving and kind and well-loved and popular on the island, and everybody knows her.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Friends and former teammates also posted tributes to each other on social media.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Dry land training was a supplement to swimming, I recall. One set consisted of 10 x 1 min rapid jumps, while holding weights above one&#8217;s head. The majority of us would have 10 pound weights. Jamie would raise a 45-pound plate high above her head and fight through pain.
