The vast effort is part of a larger effort to implement the HR 1 policies of national Democrats in every state.<\/p>\n<p>It is deceptively called the &#8220;For the People Act,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/06\/11\/how-h-r-1-would-massively-corrupt-elections-nationwide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HR 1<\/a> This bill was supported by Congress Democrats and President Joe Biden in the early months 2021. This legislation was a concentrated effort by Democrats to consolidate many of the insecure practices used during the 2020 election into federal laws and allow the federal government control over the electoral process.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s many <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/03\/08\/15-insane-things-in-democrats-h-r-1-bill-to-corrupt-elections-forever\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Changes<\/a> The provisions that affect election administration include those banning voter ID requirements, mandating universal postal balloting and legalizing widespread use for ballot drop boxes. Additionally, the bill is in violation of core Constitutional provisions like the Elections Clause (Article I) and the Electors Clause (Article II), which state that the states are responsible for ensuring the integrity of ballot drop boxes. <a href=\"https:\/\/content.govdelivery.com\/attachments\/INAG\/2021\/03\/03\/file_attachments\/1712412\/HR1%20Letter%20332021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Not<\/a> The federal government is responsible for overseeing and managing elections.<\/p>\n<p>Although House Democrats were able to pass HR 1, Senate Republicans effectively killed it once it reached the upper chamber. In typical hyperbolic fashion, Biden \u2014 legacy media&#8217;s so-called &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/joe-biden-dons-unifier-chief-023654780.html?guccounter=1&#038;guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly9kdWNrZHVja2dvLmNvbS8&#038;guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAJGtO2ulwBRNxD_xhnfJa4fzrc_HV0XyIajMQftOz6lR33RUx8X754UxvAwklH9EgLOCigtIqGlZH-8U1C0VvewhXoQYzs_KEO86gTf2Yz1TPPWJ3LYwcQNsCZvT9xNza0d6SAbyOBWBzmWQ4bosIQoaDLJtvHKZOehNtzJmGn4r\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">unifer-in-chief<\/a>&#8221; \u2014 proceeded to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/biden-blasts-republicans-blocking-election-reform-bill\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">accuse<\/a> Senate GOP Supports a &#8220;Jim Crow era&#8221; a vote suppression order against his party&#8217;s control of the state election administration.<\/p>\n<p> Blue States Barrel Ahead <\/p>\n<p>The House of Representatives being controlled by the Republicans, HR 1 is unlikely to be passed for at least two more years. State Democrats have taken it upon them to push some of the core objectives of the bill in their respective legislatures.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/02\/02\/if-new-mexico-democrats-get-their-way-even-felons-will-be-voting-by-mail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New Mexico<\/a>In a region where Democrats enjoy trifecta power, leftist politicians are trying to drive through <a href=\"https:\/\/nmlegis.gov\/Sessions\/23%20Regular\/bills\/house\/HB0004.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HB 4<\/a> before the 2023 legislative session ends. The bill seeks to increase mail-in vote by creating a &#8220;voluntary permanent absentee voter list,&#8221; Where county clerks are located &#8220;automatically send a mailed ballot to the mailing address listed on [a voter&#8217;s registration certificate] each time there is a statewide election that includes [his] precinct.&#8221; This system closely mirrors the lax no-excuse absentee vote and &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/04\/17\/what-the-msm-wont-tell-you-about-democrats-voter-suppression-in-the-wisconsin-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">indefinite confinement<\/a>&#8221; Rules that Democrats propagated around the country under Covid&#8217;s guise &#8220;emergency&#8221; to the detriment election integrity.<\/p>\n<p>The bill also seeks to increase the use of ballot drops boxes by requiring that all counties have at least two boxes within their borders. The bill also contains a provision that permits convicted felons, who have not completed parole or probation, to register to vote once they are released from prison.
