Right: Twitter    <\/p>\n<p>Ford&#8217;s electric F-150\u2014a vehicle President Joe Biden gushed over during a test drive at a Ford factory last year\u2014gets its metal from a refinery that locals say is killing them, according to a new report.<\/p>\n<p>Ford gets aluminum from a Brazilian refinery for its new electric pickup. This lawsuit could lead to thousands of people being sickened by the company&#8217;s products. <em>Bloomberg<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/graphics\/2023-ford-f150-electric-car-rainforest-damage\/?sref=ohmtMHdW#xj4y7vzkg\">reported<\/a> Sunday. According to the suit, locals are suffering from fatal cases of cancer, neurological dysfunction and birth defects due to the refinery. A woman living near the plant shared her story. <em>Bloomberg<\/em> She and seven other family members now have cancer. Her grandson, however, was born with organs that had broken through his skin. &#8220;Every single day we die a little bit,&#8221; The woman stated.<\/p>\n<p>Biden has been embarrassed by this revelation. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/speeches-remarks\/2021\/05\/18\/remarks-by-president-biden-on-a-future-made-in-america\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Promoted<\/a> This is an example for a &#8220;clean&#8221; A vehicle that will assist &#8220;save the planet.&#8221; Biden tested the F-150 electric during a May 2021 visit at a Ford manufacturing facility in Michigan. He was repeatedly impressed by the pickup&#8217;s speed and size. &#8220;I got to drive that sucker. It&#8217;s quick, zero to 60 in 4.1 seconds,&#8221; Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/biden-praises-fords-new-electric-f-150-as-a-big-boy-in-michigan-2021-10\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/a>. &#8220;And it&#8217;s a big boy, it&#8217;s a big one.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Biden has promised to create a &#8220;green energy economy&#8221; Although green energy is said to be good for the environment and will create American jobs, there are many supply chain issues in the industry that do not support that claim. For example, many of the largest solar companies in the world are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/01\/08\/business\/economy\/china-solar-companies-forced-labor-xinjiang.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Accused<\/a> Instead of relying upon Chinese forced labor, the vital minerals that are used in electric cars, as well as other so-called clean technology, come from mines in Africa and South America. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2021\/12\/211217113232.htm\">generate dangerous pollutants<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The White House didn&#8217;t respond to a request for comment.
