The United States has rallied the world in response, working with our allies and partners to provide Ukraine with critical security, economic, and humanitarian assistance and leading unprecedented efforts to impose costs on Russia for its aggression,&#8221; White House <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2023\/02\/24\/fact-sheet-on-one-year-anniversary-of-russias-invasion-of-ukraine-biden-administration-announces-actions-to-support-ukraine-and-hold-russia-accountable\/\">Fact Sheet<\/a> Friday&#8217;s statement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This week, President Biden visited Kyiv, Ukraine and Warsaw, Poland\u00a0to send a clear and powerful message that the United States will continue to stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes,&#8221; It was added.<\/p>\n<p>Security measures will also be included in the assistance. According to the White House, the package contains a lot of ammunition for high mobility artillery rocket systems (HIMARS) and 155mm artillery system. But as Ukrainian forces burn through the ammunition for\u00a0howitzers\u00a0sent to the country, the U.S. is hoping to ramp up production to roughly 90,000 shells a month,&#8221; Defense News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.defensenews.com\/land\/2023\/01\/26\/with-demand-high-in-ukraine-us-army-ramps-up-artillery-production\/\">reported<\/a> January<\/p>\n<p>Christine Wormuth, Secretary of the Army, is an individual\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/12\/04\/pentagon-industry-struggle-to-arm-ukraine-00072125\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">According to reporters<\/a>\u00a0The U.S. will produce 14,000 155mm shells per month, increasing to 20,000 later in the year and 40,000 by 2025.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are in a position to support Ukraine, but it&#8217;s more the mid and long term,&#8221; The report included comments from Doug Bush (assistant secretary of the Army for acquisitions, technology, and logistics).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0&#8220;By creating this capacity \u2026 if this war goes three or four years, we&#8217;ll be in a position to just vastly\u00a0outproduce the Russians\u00a0all by ourselves \u2015 and if you combine that with our allies, then we&#8217;re just dwarfing their capability.
